Brochures and magazines offering room rentals for seasonal hotels. Their images, staged or taken on the spot, offer an ideal type of holiday landscape. Palm trees, deck chairs, blue skies and swimming pools are omnipresent. The individuals photographed are only secondary.

IM POOL TAUCHEN. IM POOL BLEIBEN. is a take on the perceptions and criteria inherent in leisure and holiday practices. Fragmented, the advertising images of the resorts become miniatures. The environment and the figures are separated, isolated from each other and generate their own narratives.
