Statement

My work examines the nature of our social environment and its relationship with individuals.

Through research and verbal exchanges, I examine the different uses and practices which, in our society, are considered common, even ordinary. I identify the behaviours and phenomena that support and integrate these concepts into common usage.

My work explores themes such as tourism and the notion of holidays, communal celebrations and their rituals, focusing particularly on their visual representations. By breaking down different image regimes, I divert their functions and meanings and expose them to new forms of reflection.
In an ironical and offbeat way, my practice focuses on installation, collage, photography and drawing.
